Happy New Year!

Hello, and Happy New Year to you all!!

I had a lovely albeit quiet break with my family over the festive period and got completely lost in the blur between Christmas and New Year! With Covid still headlining and impacting on most of what we do it was actually quite reassuring to shut ourselves away and enjoy daytime film after daytime film!! We've also had some snow which has been a welcome surprise and the children have enjoyed a bit of sledging and snowman building, reminding me of the simple pleasures in life!

The boys received some fab books as well for Christmas so they've spent some time reading those, in between being totally absorbed by computer games of course, no point pretending that this isn't dominating their world at the moment.

Bring a Book to Life had it's busiest month last month so much so that I've used all the boxes up!! My new shipment containing a year's worth of flat packed boxes was due to arrive from Europe on the 22nd of December but has been delayed due to Covid and/or Brexit restrictions. I'm still struggling to get to the bottom of it but they have promised me they will ship out today (Monday 4th). As a result some of January's boxes will be shipped in a plain box with a large Bring a Book to Life sticker. Names are still written on them and the contents are exactly the same. It's a disappointment but the boxes still look great!

In other news there is still a 20% sale continuing with some of the boxes from last year. Please do take a look if you are keen to stock u your present draw! If you're not sure who the boxes are for as yet just write 'please leave blank' in the name section. Here's the link to the shop if you're interested!

For the next 6 months I will be donating a box to Give a Book a charity dedicated to promoting books and the pleasure of reading in the hardest places. Their main work is in prisons, schools and with disadvantaged children. I'm really pleased to be working with them and will update you all on how the boxes are received! Fingers crossed they like them! Please see the link below for more information on the charity.

February's theme has just been released and is titled 'Ready Player one?'. This theme is inspired by Internet Safety Week which happens during next month. The books chosen are great as always and I will be announcing them very shortly. For all those children (including mine) that love the virtual world these books are bound to spark interest while the 3+ book is a gentle introduction to internet safety using a wonderful chicken character - what is it with me and chickens?! I worked out the other day that chickens have featured in 4 of my boxes now!!! Keep an eye on the website for further updates!

See below for images of the New Beginnings boxes shipping from now onwards! Just a heads up, there are currently only 4 3+ boxes left!!

Don't forget to share any pictures of the boxes you receive via any of our social channels Instagram (@bringabooktolife), Facebook (@bringabooktolife) and Twitter (@BookBring). Each month one picture is chosen at random to receive a 20% discount on their next order.

If any of you are keen Instagramers, I'm running a brand rep search. Please see our instagram page for further details.

Thank you all for your continued support and please do email me info@bringabooktolife.com with any questions or ideas!

Happy New Year!!
